GM-1 Gangliosidosis Workshop Announcement

It is with great pleasure for the Cure GM1 Foundation and for the NTSAD to invite you to a GM-1 Gangliosidosis workshop.  This workshop will consist of a session during the NTSAD conference in Orlando, Florida on Saturday April 9th,  2016. This workshop is organized for families and individuals affected by GM-1 and to break down isolation, enable experiences to be exchanged, bring understanding, care and support and for many, the development of lasting friendships. Dr Cynthia Tifft will chair the workshop, which is funded by a grant from Lysogene.

Your participation will contribute to a productive workshop where advances in GM-1 Gangliosidosis medical research will be presented.  We look forward to welcoming you to Orlando with all those impacted by GM-1 and its allied diseases.

For more information on the conference, please see the NTSAD web site.  More specifics on the exact agenda for the workshop and presentations will follow as the workshop approaches.

  1. Hi I wanted to go to the conference but I used he grant last year. Will I still be able to receive one this year? Do I need to register with the hotel if I’m staying some other hotel?

    • Hi Sabrina, You should contact NTSAD with these questions as they pertain to the general conference as opposed to this one session/workshop.

  2. I heard something about the workshop being available via internet. My husband and I are unable to attend in person but are very interested in watching. Is this possible?

    • Hi Angie, The videos will likely be posted on YouTube after the workshop. At this time, it won’t be streaming.
